STREAMLINED BASE QUICK LOCK

The Streamlined Quick-Lock (QL) base is widely considered the most advanced and secure mast base system in windsurfing. It combines Streamlined’s legendary "indestructible" build quality with a unique two-part "Click-on, Click-off" system.

Unlike a standard base that stays in one piece, the Quick-Lock system splits into two distinct components:

• Durability: There are no plastic collars or thin springs. The locking head is a monobloc stainless steel piece, making it almost impossible to fail even in giant waves.

• Ease of Transport: You can leave the tiny deck plates on all your boards and just carry one "universal joint" to snap onto whichever board you choose to use that day.

• Direct Control: Because it is all-metal with a stiff tendon, there is zero "wobble" between the rig and the board, offering perfect trim and responsiveness.

Maintenance Note: Because it uses high-grade aluminum and stainless steel together, it is recommended to rinse it with fresh water and occasionally use a silicone spray to prevent the "sticky" button feeling caused by salt/sand buildup.
